ok some people get attention by cutting themselves or by attempting to kill themselves.  i figure bright colors on my journal works well enough for me.  hehehehe.  not that i really need attention...

ok i havent been posting nearly as much as i would like merely because i was at school and using the school's computers.  the internet there is a bit funky and its annoying to type my journals out there.  so since im home for easter i thought that id wait to update "yins."

not too much has happened these past two weeks.  a lot of it was homework.  i had two papers to write the day i got back from spring break and then one more due that week.  welcome to college.  despite the papers, its been a bit easier because i have had classes canceled giving me more time.  especially my tuesday classes which never end.  schoolwork never does end.  i say this as i see three papers looming in my future, but such is life. 

my computer does not have a gremlin this time.  its just the silly policies of tech services.  im not allowed to hook up to the internet with my laptop until i have the microsoft windows service pack 2 downloaded on my computer.  *laughs a bit hysterically*  it isnt compatable with my computer.  so i took it to the tech guys as soon as i had my three papers written and when i picked it up again to write another paper, they hadnt even looked at it.  *sighs*  silly policies.

lets see... i went shopping at walmart at midnight one day.  that was spontaneous.  it was fun as i was able to splurge and buy new clothes.  i figure all the work i do at the brig is enough to cover a couple of pants.  besides some drama (which i cant talk about) there hasnt been too much going on.  although one night  *laughs* ...   it all started when i walked out into the lounge and saw my RA spray painting to large boxes.  the boxes are about shoulder height and a foot and a half wide.  a bunch of girls started congregating in the lounge curious.  my RA said we were going to have "mandatory fun" and so we had fun... but a lot of it.  we had a video camera out so all the following has been caught on video.  my RA, jen, started spray painting a woman on this box, but she painted it so that it stopped at the neck.  we were all a bit confused and she explained that if someone got into the box it would their head would be in the right place.  it was hilarious.  so then she painted a man to accompany the woman.  jenny got into the woman and as she was walking she totally wiped out.  it was hilarious!  then my roommate put on a baseball cap and joined her in the male box.  the two of them stood on chairs behind a couch and did an improv comedy skit.  it was great.  then jenny had the idea that we should sumo wrestle in the boxes.  so heather, the resident rugby player, went up against the smallest girl in our dorm.  i wonder who won?  *scratches head in confusion*  then i decided to go up against heather since we are about the same size and build.  i did pretty well and we were going at it pretty hard until i got knocked into a couch and lost my balance.  heather, the resident champion then put on a bathrobe and boxed with jenny to the tune to "rocky."  it was hilarious.  then we set up the karioke machine and my RA lipsynced and started dancing.  then most of the girls joined it at one point or another.  we all made fools of ourselves and it was soo much fun.  after that we went back and watched the video we made.  anything not to do our homework.  yes, so that is my demented dorm, but it was a ton of fun. 

i dont have many plans for this weekend other than relaxing, doing a bit of hw, see some friends, i have a date (kudos to the first person who guesses with whom) and of course spending lots of time with my family.  (we played pinochle tonight... ladela.  so much fun!)
