Tag Board

Elias : hello Happy new year.this year i like to be communicating with you. Tell me more
Rebe: If you want to you can delete it from the tag board all together. It's probably one of those peoples that just does stuff like that for no reason. Due to a lack of a life, I do believe...
the viking: haha!!! Silly peoples! Someone really hates your guts! LOL
lom: someone called me a bitch and didnt even leave their name. lol. ill try not to find that hilarious. the may know me and they may not, but one this is for sure: they're a coward. and that says more than calling me a bitch. hehehehe.
the viking: aye, squirrels are evil. Lately it seems that all squirrels are after me! *glances behind back*
Anonymous: you = bitch
lom: i know mike listens to some enya... i should buy a cd at some point in my very busy life...
the viking: oh, yes, right now I love enya...trying to keep the idle chit chat away! I love her album the Celts...you should listen to it sometime.
nathan: I vote yes on new update. Are there any squirrels jumping out at you? ha ha. hope all is going well.
the viking: hear hear! We must know...*cries*
Rebe: LAURA, we need a new post! Tell us about your life!!!!!!
lom: oh gosh that is sooo scary britt!!! *hides in corner* keep those scary things away from me!!!

Rebe:
the viking: hey hey! oh, wait, that's idle chatter...hold on *thinks of something not idle* ok, bye bye
Rebe: Hey, how's it going being back at college?
lom: any songs you particularly like and why?
the viking: sorry for the idle chit chat...lol...favourite musicians: eden's bridge, iona, the beatles, other miscellaneous bands...
the viking: ewan macgregor????? greetings from the vikingmaiden
eric: nice journal, have a great week!
Rebe: Yes it's by Jane Austen, I don't know if the version I have has Ewen McGregor in it. I think you do need to see it again, 'cmon over! lol
lom: ooo... ive seen that a couple of times... its written by jane austen correct? it had ewen mc gregor also huh? i never quite understood it... but maybe i need to see it again... what do you think of it?
Rebe: Watching Emma (and reading the book ;D
lom: current movie: thirteen conversations about one thing...its rated R for language and drug references... i think it should be rated R for being depressing, haunting, and creepy. ive wanted to turn it off since the first ten minutes... but im watching it for a discussion group and we'll see if we can find anything redeeming about it.
lom: alright folks... ive been watching a lot of movies lately and so i guess im gonna make this a place to post fav movies... worst movies... things to see and stay away from... post fav songs and musicians if you want... but im tired of the silly chit chat that goes on a tag board and i thought this be a neat change

life

  • Mood: ladela (does that say enough?)
  • Weather: cold... sunny
  • Question of the Day: what do you guys think of either the book or movie "Pride and Prejudice?"
  • Thought of the Day: ill tell you if you guys actually answer the question...
phew its been a while and a lot has happened. as most of you know i was home for spring break this past week. some of the highlights include going to randy's quiz bowl, playing cards, seeing Hitch w/ mike, rebekah's fabulous bithrday party. i also job shadowed at the pregnancy in carlisle. that was a fun experiance. ok let me go into more detail ith some things... lol its more fun that way. my first day back, saturday, i went to randy's quiz bowl thing. that was a lot of fun. i got to talk to jason and bekah a. i also got to see my bro participate, and a lot of memories were brought back from when i particpated in eighth grade. later that night i played cards with mike and the sones. lets see how do i convey what all happened? lets just say that we were laughing so hard mr. sones and to spit out what he was drinkin in the sink. mostly b/c of my own... gracefulness... lol. anyways sunday was a bum day and then on monday i jobshadowed. it was fun. then tuesday i did something. i actually dnt remember what. lol. then on wednesday i stayed home and did homework... lovely, lovely. then thursday i job shadowed pretty much all day. friday i cleaned... nothing like cleaning a place you dont life hmm? lol. then i went to the movies w/ mike. saturday i went to rebekah's party... we started talking like we've never been apart. it was lovely. we all got a corner of the cake... yum! and then we watch monty python and then goofed off a bit. weirdest thing: britt put ice cream in the refridgerator. dont ask me. sunday was another relax and hw day and i drove back on monday w/ derek and mom. the drive back here was quick and uneventful until mom noticed we had a flat looking tire when we dropped derek off at his dorm. so... after we brought all my stuff into my dorm and i got settled down we began the process of looking for a place to check the tire. and mom made the random comment, "if you come with me, ill get you a new fish" hehhehe. i went with her and then we went to a pet store. i got a BEAUTIFUL beta. she has a dark bluish purple body. its fins are a lighter blue with silver in them... and the lower fins have the purple brought down and it becomes pinker in the light. but basically you could call my beta blue. lol. ive already named her. i named her Rhea after zeus's mother. not a hanger blonde. so its back and the whisper of spring has been taunting us. robins have been around for a couple of weeks. its been great. but now the sun isnt as cold and the air smells faintly of life. the first crocuses are up and daffodils have started growing with a purpose. its not warm. my hands still hurt when i get back to my dorm b/c they are so cold and wearing a sweatshirt is not enough for the walk from my dorm to my classes. BUT ITS COMING!!!! mom sent me daffodils today. that made me happy!!! well despite three papers i havent had too much hw since ive been back. its really nice. its soo weird that easter break is so close. hmmph. life good lives folks.

i didnt actually watch it... i read it for my humanities class... i LOVE that book... i think she has some amazing insights to relationships, but more than that i find it entirely too dang funny. its soo witty and the characters are so real that i just love it! but yes, the colin firth version of p&p is excellent. i highly recommend it. he is soo good at mr. darcy. i heart mr. darcy.

Well, I have never read Pride Or Prejudice, but if I had a choice I would definitely choose...hrm, well probably prejudice because pride just isn't a good thing. ;) Neither of them are good, don't get me wrong. However, the question is not which one we, as humans, would choose; rather, it is a decision for the surviving fish. I think that you should ask the fish which one it would pick. Maybe if you pose such questions to your fish she will live longer. Just a thought :)
